Some tips for picking outfits for family portraits:
1. Accessories (like scarves) can add a pop of color and give more texture to the photos.

2. Boys should wear collared shirts because the collar gives definition to the jaw line.



3. Think more about coordinating than matching.


4. Start with an outfit that you like and use the colors & style to help you choose the rest.
(These outfits started with the yellow dress.)

Destination: St. Lucia

In a taxi cab, in a jungle, in the middle of St. Lucia; my fathers last words to me were,

               “I wish I were there.  I'm jealous.  I love you, Erin.”

En route to the airport, we stopped at Jalousie beach where this photo was made.

With Mackenzie’s senior portraits, we wanted to get traditional shots and also showcase her love of dance!

She’s an all-American girl who loves to sport the red, white, and blue.

This is the way dancers hike.

The Great Salt Lake can be very malodorous; but it is a perfect backdrop and worth the nose pinching.

Utah Family Photographer - Family Portrait Session - Harries Family

- Park City, Utah-

I met Cole at a wedding.

Then I worked with him on an editorial shoot in Vegas.

It was so much fun to meet his family.

What a good looking group! (and witty too!)

The Harries kids show off their modeling skills. (one, two, three and TURN!)

This was so hilarious that my assistant took video of it.

Such a fun family and and a very enjoyable shoot!
